Warranty Hero – Check Those Warranties 0
Applications
Warranties are a fickle thing. You buy them hoping the product never breaks, when it does you can never remember when the warranty runs out, so you spend the next week trying to find your warranty slip. Wouldn’t it be great if there was an application that could remember this for you. This is where Warranty Hero comes in. Its a simple app which is designed to tell you how long you have left on a warranty and when it will expire.
Your Warranty
This program is really simple to use. You add a new warranty using the button, enter all the information such as Vendor, Name, Purchase date, the warranty in question plus any additional information such as an image and the receipt. When you are finished, you hit OK and it will be added to the pool.
On the surface that pretty much what the application does, but there is a lot of little functions such as Quicklook on a receipt, printing, and the ability to sort the data by vendor, name and the time left. Plus there is lots of little features such as different colour feedback and searching.
Conclusion
This review is a little short, simply because the program isn’t massive. Its designed as a quick way to store your warranties and retrieve them later. Its not an app which you use constantly. However it is priced at $5 which is a bargin. For that amount of money I would forgo making a spreadsheet and just purchase the app to save myself some time.
