People love messing about with cameras. I reckon the second ever photo was some one doing something stupid (first had to be “official” and look good for prosperity). This love of messing about extends to using your iSight on your Mac. Although you can mess around with the filters and effects in PhotoBooth these do get a little boring after a while. Today I have been playing around with Fun Booth (which I am sure I have written about before, but can find no evidence of). It takes image recognition technology and allows you to play with props. Its well fun.

I love iTunes, I never really turn it off, its on practically all the time. The one thing I find slightly annoying is the fact that you can’t really see what songs are coming next, unless you use Party Shuffle. This is where heads up ‘tunes comes into play. Its a small application which shows you which two songs are coming up next.

I’m sorry for the lack of posts over the last couple of days. I have had a big Uni report due in and as a result I have been really busy. I wanted this week to be full of free applications and finish with a big list of free applications. That hasunfortunately sufficed. If I had know I would have postponed this small feature set. Anyway today I am going to share with you one of the best apps for using Twitter, Twitterific. If you are interested you can find my Twitter feed here. It is a simple app that can be used to send and receive tweets as well as a whole load of other features.

Sharing information over the web is a part of everyday life. If you have a desktop screen shot or any sort of image and you want a quick way to show people this image it can be quite hard. Skitch is a really fun application that is designed so you can quickly take photos, change them as your see fit and then share them over the Internet.Skitch is really popular app, and deservedly so. I will probably be using this application for a long time.

Polaroids are probably the only form of film cameras that are still on the market. All have been taken over by digital. Polaroids are the funky pictures you take with a thick white boarder. As a result they are fun way to take a picture and instantly see what you have taken. It has a lot of shaking involved as your picture slowly develops. This polaroid effect has been taken into the digital age with Poladriod. The results are fun and surprising really good.
