Springy – A Better File Compressor 5

Tool

Springy – A Better File Compressor

The file compression service on your Mac is a bit poor. At best you can select a file or folder to compress and hit a button. That’s about it. Today’s app which I am going to review is called Springy. Its an app designed to help you compress and extract a large number of files on folders. The difference with this app is you get to pick which files you want to extract and compress. Its well built and well designed, and I think this app might be very useful.

Brush Pilot – Fast Easy Brush Viewer 4

Tool

Brush Pilot – Fast Easy Brush Viewer

If you have ever used Photoshop or a similar app, you will at one time or another have come across brushes. I was at one point fascinated at collecting every single one I could find (this also expanded to shapes and fonts), I did this in case I ever needed them. Turns out it didn’t, and Iended up using the same brush over and over again, because it was to hard to look through other brushes. This is where a handy tool such as BrushPilot comes in. Its a brush viewer which you can use to preview brushes. Its blazingly fast and in my opinion should come with any new version of Photoshop.
