Brush Pilot – Fast Easy Brush Viewer 4
Tool
If you have ever used Photoshop or a similar app, you will at one time or another have come across brushes. I was at one point fascinated at collecting every single one I could find (this also expanded to shapes and fonts), I did this in case I ever needed them. Turns out it didn’t, and I ended up using the same brush over and over again, because it was to hard to look through other brushes. This is where a handy tool such as BrushPilot comes in. Its a brush viewer which you can use to preview brushes. Its blazingly fast and in my opinion should come with any new version of Photoshop.
A Big Brush Please
This application is simple. Its main job is to find brushes and show them to you in the fastest possible time. It will do this by searching your hard drive for installed brushes. It will also look into applications such as Photoshop for locations of any brush that is installed. The app is smart enough to realise where a brush has come from and the app it belongs to.
In the sidebar of the app, clicking on any brush file will load it up in the main window. You can resize the view so you change the size of the brushes to get a better look. The app is designed to be fast, and I must agree. Once as you click on a brush a millisecond later it will open the file. Brilliant if you want to quickly view what brushes you have installed.

Other than the ability to install and delete brushes this app is pretty simple. Its sole purpose is to show you your brushes. It does do this well. For a designer who uses a lot of brush this may come in very useful. However for the causal user this app may not be worth it.
Overall this app is well built, designed well and runs like a dream. However I don’t feel that this app is wroth buying unless you are a compulsive brush user.
