This program is an easy-to-use application launcher and it's easier to use than Spotlight if you use a hot key (and if it works). I set Namely to use Option-Q and then I type in one or two letters for my application and hit Return and the program launches. No more reaching up to the top of the screen for Spotlight and no waiting until Spotlight finds my application (Spotlight is slow on older PPC Macs with limited memory). The only problem I have with Namely is that it can't always find applications that aren't stored in my Applications folder or on my bootup partition. It's hit and miss if Namely finds those apps. So, I keep a folder with my favorites in the Dock in case Namely fails at its job.

Nice website - I've added your feed to my Mac sites RSS folder in Safari and I'll add the website to Stumbleupon in a few minutes.

er.....clearly I'm missing the point, as I use spotlight; tap in the first few letters and then click on the app name to run it. So what does this give me that spotlight doesn't!
