URLWell – Temporary Store URL’s 0
Utility
A couple of days ago I mentioned about ShoveBox, in a nutshell its an app which you can use to store all of the random bits of information you collect along the way. I mentioned about URLWell. This program is a designed to store all of those URL’s which you collect. I am talking about the ones you don’t want to bookmark but want to keep track of for later use. URLWell will git that gap.
Storing URL’s
This program is very simple. So simple it only consists of a menu bar icon and a couple of menu items. The basic idea behind this application is that you drag your URL of the website you want to save into the menu bar item. Thats it. Its really simple to use. If you want to retrieve an item you simple click then menu bar time and scroll to the URL.
There are other features to this program such as being able to show what URL’s you have visited, as well as deleteing and triming the sites you have visitied. I really like using it since I don’t have to clutter my desktop with URL shortcuts or use a bookmark folder to keep track of them all.
This program is free, try it out and see what you think. Be warned, you will tend to generate a very long list of URL’s so you will have to go through and trim it down every so often.
If you want to keep up with the latests post from iLoveMacApps I recommend you subscribe to the RSS Feed.
